Got the computer back. (Yay!) While it was gone, I tried to use my downtime productively and got some pictures and scans of some of my old work. I posted a few pieces today that are REAL old.

Last journal I talked about my negotiations with the shop when having my computer fixed. Here's a snippet from a letter I wrote complaining about it two a few friends where I added a bit more detail:

"I didn't hear anything by 4 so I called the first guy again and said, 'Hey no one called me to let me know.' This time he gave me the number and told me to ask for Natalie. Natalie sounded like a guy, not a woman, or more like a guy on his way to being a woman. Despite how the voice threw me, I managed to ask about my laptop and was given somewhat vague answers."

Well... It was exactly as I thought. When I went to pick up the laptop, Natalie did indeed turn out to be somewhere in the middle between a man and a woman. I am glad I had talked to her on the phone first. I was prepared that way.
